Section 55: General penalty.

(1) A person who commits an offence under this Act for which no specific penalty is provided is liable on conviction to a fine of at least N500,000 or imprisonment for a term of two years or both.
(2) A body corporate that commits an offence under this Act for which no specific penalty is provided is liable on conviction to a fine of at least N2,000,000.
