Section 28: Failure to renew licence.

(1) A licensee who fails to renew his licence by 31 January in each year shall in addition to the prescribed fee, pay a fine equivalent to 50% of the applicable fee.
(2) A licensee who fails to renew the licence of its premises by 31 March in each year shall be considered to be operating in violation of the provisions of this Act and shall be liable to closure by the Council.
