Section 16: Protection of certain rights

Where in the exercise of any function under this Act certain rights are affected the provisions of this Act shall not be construed so as to exclude-(a) the payment of compensation in respect of any loss or damage that may have been suffered in consequence of the operation of the provisions of this Act;
(b) the determination of any right or interest in any property acquired or possessed by the Corporation and the amount of compensation payable pursuant to this section by any court of competent jurisdiction.
