Section 104: Compensation on Certificate of Occupancy.

Where, by reason of the grant or existence of a mining lease, the President, in the case of Federal land, the Governor of State, in any other case, revokes a right of occupancy over land, the subject of a certificate of occupancy or resumes possession of any land occupied under state lease, the mining lessee, shall pay to the Government the amount of the compensation paid by the Governor to the holder of the certificate of occupancy or the State lessee by reason of the revocation or resumption of possession, as the case may be.
