Section 38: Refusal to give information wilfully or recklessly giving of false information.

(1) Any person who fails to give information as to any of the matters in respect of which information is to be given under this Act or the regulations made there under commits an offence under this Act.
(2) A person who commits an offence under this section is liable on conviction to a fine of up to N50,000.00 (Fifty thousand naira) or imprisonment for six (6) months or both such fine and imprisonment.
(3) A person who wilfully or recklessly gives false information as to any of the matters in respect of which information is to be given under this Act or the regulations made under it commits an offence which penalty shall be as in subsection (2).
