Section 29: Use of assessors.

(1) In any civil cause or matter, the Court may, if it thinks it expedient so to do or in a manner prescribed under any enactment, law or Rules of Court, call in the aid of one or more assessors specially qualified and try and hear the cause or matter wholly or partially with the assistance of such assessors.
(2) The remuneration, if any, to be paid to an assessor shall be determined by the court on the direction of the President of the Court or as may be otherwise prescribed pursuant to this Act or any other enactment or law or any Regulations made pursuant thereto.
