Section 19: Evaluating services of health establishments.

(1)
All health establishments shall comply with the quality requirements and standards prescribed by the National Council on Health.
(2)
The quality requirements and standards stated in sub-section (1) of this section may relate to human resources, health technology, equipment, hygiene, premises, the delivery of health services, business practices, safety and the manner in which users are accommodated and treated.
(3)
The National Tertiary Health Institutions Standards Committee shall monitor and enforce compliance with the quality requirements and standards stated in subsection (1) as it relates to Tertiary Hospitals.
