Section 22: Indemnity of the healthcare provider or employer of a healthcare establishment

Subject to not being found negligent, a health care provider or other officers or employees of a health care establishment shall be indemnified out of the assets of the health care establishment against any liability incurred by him in defending any proceeding, whether and civil or criminal in which judgment is given in his favour or is acquired, if any such proceeding is brought against him in his capacity as a health care provider, an officer or employee of a health care establishment.
