Section 17: Referral from one health establishment to another

(1) subject to this Act, a user may attend any health establishshment for the purposes of receiving health services.
(2)
If a health establishment is not capable of providing the necessary treatment or care, the health establishment in question shall refere the user concerned to an appropriate health establishment which is capable of providing the necessary treatment or care (in such manner or such terms as may be prescribed by regulation).
