Section 4: Governing Structure of the Colleges and Visitor to the College

(1) The Governing Structure of the Colleges shall consist of the following-
(a) Governing Council;
(b) Management Committee;
(c) Academic Board;
(d) School Board; and
(e) Departmental Board.
(2) The Minister is the Visitor to the Colleges.
(3) The Visitor shall, at least once in every five years, conduct a visitation of the Colleges or appoint a Visitation Panel, consisting of at least five experts, to conduct the visit
(a) to evaluate the academic and administrative performance of the Colleges; and
(b) for any other purpose or in respect of any other affair of the Colleges, as the Visitor may deem fit.
(4) The provisions set out in the Second Schedule to this Act, shall apply in relation to the Council Governing structure and other matters specified in the Second Schedule.
