Section 1: Establishment of Federal Colleges of Education and legal status of the Colleges

(1) There is established, the Federal Colleges of Education, specified in the First Schedule to this Act (in this Act referred to as the "Colleges"), which has the powers and shall perform the functions that are conferred on them by this Act.
(2) Each College-
(a) is a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal;
(b) has power to acquire and dispose of interests in movable and immovable property; and
(c) may sue or be sued in its corporate name.
