Section 2: Establishment and membership of the Governing Council of the Institute.

(1) There is established for the Institute a Governing Council (in this Act referred to as "the Council") which shall have the functions set out in this Act.
(2) The Council shall consist of :
(a) a President and three Vice-President ;
(b)
five persons registered as either as fellows, member or associate of the Institute appointed by the Minister to represent both the Federal and state Government Printers ; and
(c) fifteen persons elected by the Institute biannually of whom not more than eight shall be person in active practice as printing professionals ;
(3) Regulations made by the Council with the approval of the Minister may provide for increasing or reducing the membership of the Council and may make such amendments;
(4) The President and members of the Council shall be paid such emoluments, allowances and benefits as may be determined by the Council from time to time.
(5) The supplementary provisions set out in the Schedule to this Act shall have effect with respect to the proceedings of the Council and the other matters contained therein.
