Section 77: Pre-action Notice.

2015Section 77 of 83Federal Republic of Nigeria

1 No civil action shall be commenced against the Agency or
its authorised officers before the expiration of a period of 30 days after written notice of intention to commence the suit shall have been served on the Agency by the intending plaintiff or his agent, and the notice shall clearly state the-
a cause of action;
b particulars of the claim;
c name and place of abode of the intending plaintiff; and
d relief sought.
2 The notice referred to in sub-section (1) of this Section and any Summons, or other documents required or authorized to be served on the Agency under this Act or any other enactment or law may be served by-
a delivering it to the Agency ; or
b Sending it by registered mail to the postal address of the Agency.
