Section 80: Repeal and Savings Provision.

1 The Trafficking in Persons (Prohibition) Law Enforcement and Administration Act, 2003 as amended is hereby repealed.
2 Without prejudice to section 6 of the Interpretation Act, the repeal of the Act specified in sub-section (1) of this Section, shall not affect anything done under tlre Act.
3 Every regulation, order, requirement, certificate, notice, direction, decision, authorization, consent, application, request or things made, issued, given or done under the repealed Act shall, if in force at the commencement of this Act, continue to be in force and have effect as if made, issued, given or done under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
4 All assets, funds, resources and other movable and immovable property which, immediately before the commencement of this Act vested in the former Agency shall, by virtue of this Act and without further assurance be vested in the Agency established under section 2 of this Act.
5 Every reference to the former Agency, Board, Minister, Executive Secretary, Board Chairman or any person until their control or a document issued in the name of the former Agency, Board, Minister, Executive Secretary, Chairman of the former Board or employee of the former Agency shall be read, unless the context otherwise requires, as a reference to the Agency, Minister, Board, Director-General, Chairman, or an employee of the Agency established under this Act, as the case may be.
