Section 4: Diversion of telephone line, etc.

A person who, without lawful authority, diverts, in any way whatsoever or to any other place or address, a telephone line which-(a) has or has not been allocated to a subscriber by an operator, whether or not for the purpose of making or enabling another person to make a telephone call; or
(b)
has been allocated to or installed at a specified address
is guilty of an offence.
