Section 48: Qualification for Exploration Licence.

A qualified applicant for an Exploration Licence is-(a) a body corporate duly incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act ; or
(b) a Mining Co-operative ; or
(c) the holder of a Reconnaissance Permit granted in respect of the area subject to the application, provided that the applicant has fulfilled all the conditions attached to the Reconnaissance Permit.
