Section 60: Preservation of secrecy
(1) Except for the purpose of the performance of his duties or the exercise of his functions or when lawfully required to do so by any court or under the provisions of any written law, a person, who is or has been a member, art officer, employee, adviser ,or agent of the Agency or a member of a committee of the Agency shall not disclose any information relating to the affairs of the Agency or of any other person which has been obtained by him in the performance of his duties or functions.
(2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) of this section commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding N300,000.00 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
(3) The Agency, in exercise of its powers under subsections (1) and (2) of this section, shall be subject to the laws of the Federation.
