Section 62: Assignment of duties and delegation of powers

(1)
The Minister, may assign any duty and delegate any power imposed or conferred upon him by this Act except the power to make regulations with regards to any-
(a) person in the employment of the Federal Government ; or
(b) council, board or committee established under this Act.
(2)
A Commissioner may assign any duty and delegate any power imposed or conferred upon him or her under this Act, except the power to make regulations to any officer in the relevant State Ministry or any council, board of committee established under this Act.
(3)
The Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry may assign any duty and delegate any power imposed or conferred upon him or her under this Act to any official in the Federal Ministry of Health.
