Section 4: Functions of the Board

Without prejudice to section 2 of this Act, the Board shall have the following functions, that is-(a) encouragement of the cultural heritage and creativity of Nigerians;
(b) disbursement of funds to individuals and institutions in the fields of culture and the arts; and
(c) investment of funds of the Endowment in profit-making ventures as may be approved by the Minister.
