Section 5: Establishment and composition of State Committee

(1) There shall be established for each State of the Federation, a State Committee on Geographical Names (in this Act referred to as "the State Committee").
(2) The State Committee shall comprise the following, that is-
(a) the Surveyor-General of the State, who shall be chairman;
(b) the secretary to each local government council; and
(c) a representative of the Political Department, Governor's Office.
