Section 23: Central Seed Laboratory

(1) The Minister may by notification in the Gazette designate any laboratory as a central seed testing laboratory (in this Act referred to as "a seed laboratory") for the purpose of carrying out the functions entrusted to a seed laboratory by or under this Act.
(2) A seed analyst shall, at a seed lahoratory, carry out in the prescribed manner an analysis of seeds of a notified kind or variety.
