Section 98: Changes in crew of sea-going ships to be reported

(1)
The master of every sea-going ship whose crew was engaged before the superintendent shall, before finally leaving Nigeria, sign and send to the nearest superintendent, a full and accurate statement in the prescribed form, of every change which takes place in his crew before finally leaving Nigeria, and that statement shall be admissible in evidence.
(2)
A master who fails without reasonable cause to comply with the provisions of this section commits an offence and on conviction is liable to a fine not less than one hundred thousand Naira.
