Section 50: Evidence of other foreign registers
(1)
Any register under this part and any declaration made in pursuance of this part in respect of a ship shall be admissible in evidence.
(2)
A copy or transcript of the register of ships kept by the registrar of ships at any port of registry in any foreign country, or a copy or transcript of any master register of ships kept under the authority of the Government of the foreign country shall be admissible in evidence and have the same effect to all intents as the original register of which it is a copy or transcript.
