Section 362: Receiver and assistant receivers

(1)
There shall be appointed by the Minister, a Receiver of Wreck, and such number of assistant Receivers of Wreck for any part of Nigeria as may be necessary; and any such assistant Receiver of Wreck shall exercise such powers conferred by this part of this Act on the Receiver of Wreck and may perform such duties as are imposed by this part of this Act on the Receiver of Wreck, as the Receiver of Wrecks may delegate to him.
(2)
Anything lawfully done by an assistant Receiver of Wreck acting under this section shall, for the purposes of this part, be deemed to have been done by the Receiver of Wreck.
