Section 326: Survey

(1)
Every ship shall before it is registered be surveyed by a surveyor of ships and the tonnage of the ship ascertained in accordance with the provisions of any regulation made under this part of this Act.
(2)
The surveyor shall grant a Certificate of Survey specifying the ship's tonnage and build, and such other particulars descriptive of the identity of the ship as may, for the time being, be required by the Registrar.
(3)
The Certificate of Survey shall be delivered to the Registrar before registration.
