Section 217: Power to require production of evidence.

The securities exchange, capital trade point, the Commission or the Tribunal, as the case may be, may require any person to produce and deliver any securities, documents or statements of evidence necessary to support any claim made or necessary for the purpose of determining a claim or for any other proceedings in connection with any matter pending before it.
