Section 26: Overloading.

(1) A driver shall not drive a vehicle on a highway with a load exceeding a capacity prescribed for that class or type of vehicle.
(2) A person who drives a vehicle in contravention of subsection 1 of this section commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine of ten thousand naira.
