Section 149: Consent order
(1) Where a matter has been investigated by the Commission, and the Commission and the respondent agree on the proposed terms of n appropriate order, the agreed terms shall be made on the order of the Commission.
(2) The Commission may, if it deems fit, register the order in a court of competent jurisdiction and the court without hearing any evidence, may confirm that agreement as a consent order.
(3) An order of the Comnrission or a consent order confirmed pursuant to the provision of this section may include an award of damages to the complainant.
