Section 7: Powers of the College.

The College shall have power to-(a) award diplomas and certificates for courses provided by it under section 5 of this Act;
(b) enter into such contracts as may be necessary or expedient for carrying into effect the provisions of this Act;
(c) invest its funds in such manner and to such extent as it may deem necessary or expedient;
(d) establish and maintain a library, comprising of books, journals, records, reports and other publications and information systems as may be required for the performance of the functions conferred on the College by this Act;
(e) accept gifts of land, money or other property upon such terms and conditions, if any, as may be specified by the person or organisation making the gift:
Provided that the College shall not accept any gift if the terms and conditions attached to the gift is inconsistent with its functions under this Act.
