Section 9: Appointment of the Provost of the College.

(1) There shall be for the College a Provost (in this Act referred to as "the Provost") who shall be-
(a) a Fellow of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria; and
(b) appointed by the Board from a list supplied to it by the Academic Board, of three persons of high academic standing, proven administrative ability and good character.
(2) The Provost shall be the Chief Academic and Administrative Officer of the College.
