Section 37: Offences by staff of a body corporate.

Where an offence under this Act is committed by a body corporate, and is proven to have been committed with the consent or connivance of, or attributable to any neglect on the part of the managing director, a director, manager, secretary or other similar officer of the body corporate or any person purporting to act in any of those capacities, the person is liable on conviction to a fine not more than N500,000 or imprisonment for a term not more than six months, or both.
