Section 31: Liability of the lessor for defect of a leased equipment

Subject to the provisions of this Act or a lessee agreement, a lessor shall not be liable for any defect in the fitness of a leased equipment except a lessee suffers loss as a result of the lessee’s reliance on the lessor’s skill or judgment in the selection of the supplier or manufacturer of a leased equipment.
