Section 53: Repeals and Amendments

(1) Any provisions of any existing laws with respect to the registration of vessels, ownership, size and type of vessel, participation in Nigerian domestic coastal and inland waters trade in whatever forms that is inconsistent with the provisions of this Act is repealed in so far as it affects matters under this Act and in particular as set out in the schedule to this Act.
