COASTAL AND INLAND SHIPPING (CABOTAGE) ACT
Section 33: Port Clearance to Vessels
Notwithstanding the provisions of any other laws, no port clearance shall be granted to a vessel engaged in domestic coastal shipping unless the owner, charterer, master or agent satisfies the proper customs or such other authority authorized to issue port clearance that the vessel is licensed to engage in domestic shipping or has the prescribed waiver.
