Section 29: Repeal, savings and transitional provisions

(1) The Maritime Academy of Nigeria Act, Cap. M3, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004, is repealed.
(2)
On the commencement of this Act, any person employed by or serving in, Maritime Academy, Oron, shall be deemed to have been employed or serving in the University established in this Act.
(3) All Assets or liabilities belonging to Maritime Academy Oron, shall be deemed to belong to the University established under this Act.
