Section 9: Tenure of Office.

(1) Member of the Board, except the Statistician- General shall hold office for a term of 4 years in the first instance and may be renewed for another term of 4 years and no more.
(2) The Board shall meet at least once in a quarter for the discharge of its business.
(3) The quorum for the meetings of the Board shall be two third (2/3) and in all meetings of the Board each member present shall have one vote on any question before the Board and, in the event of an equality of votes, the Chairman shall have a casting vote.
