Section 1: Establishment of the Nigerian Institute of Laboratory Technology,etc.

(1) There is established a body to be known as the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (in this Act referred to as "the Institute").
(2) The Institute-
(a) shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession;
(b) shall have a common seal which shall be kept in such custody as the Council may, from time to time,authorise ; and
(c) may sue and be sued in its corporate name.
