TERRORISM (PREVENTION AND PROHIBITION) ACT
Section 27: Escape or aiding and abetting escape.
A person who—(a) being in lawful custody for an act of terrorism, escapes from custody, or
(b) aids, facilitates, or abets the escape of a person, who is –
(i) in lawful custody of the relevant agency for an act of terrorism, or
(ii) suspected to have committed an offence under any of the provisions of this Act, commits an offence, and is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term of at least 20 years.
