Section 12: Fund of the Council.

(1) The Council shall establish and maintain a fund (“the Fund”) which shall consist of -
(a) such sums as may be appropriated to the Council by the National Assembly;
(b) two per cent surcharge on imports;
(c) fees charged for services rendered by the Council;
(d) contributions from the organised private sector; and
(e) all sums accruing to the Council by way of gifts, testamentary disposition, endowments, contributions from philanthropic persons and donor agencies.
(2) The Council shall apply the Fund towards the promotion of the objectives specified in this Act.
