Section 14: Saving as to certain quarriable minerals customarily extracted.
(1) Nothing in this Part shall be deemed to apply in relation to the extraction of the following quarriable minerals, that is to say, sand, clay, laterite, and stone for purely local purposes by the local inhabitants of an area in accordance with the local custom of the community of that area.
Provided that such local custom does not permit the use of explosives for the extraction of such minerals.
