Section 66: Immunity against liability for loss.

1 The relevant organisation in respect of property in its custody shall not be liable for—
a any loss or damage, sustained by a person claiming an interest in all or part of the controlled property, arising from the relevant organization taking custody and control of the property; and
b the cost of proceedings taken to establish an interest in the property.

2 In the management of controlled property, the relevant organization shall not pay any rates, land tax, municipal or statutory charges imposed under any law pertaining to the controlled property, except out of the rents or profits that had accrued from the controlled property.
