Section 17: Regulations.
The Minister may with the approval of the Federal Executive Council make such regulations as may, in the opinion of the Minister, be required for carrying into effect the objectives of this Act and generally to facilitate the implementation of this Act and, without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the regulations may make provisions-
(a) with respect to any matter pertaining to the sale of any commodity, whether or not the commodity is subject to price control under this Act;
(b) prescribing penalties not exceeding a fine of N200 or imprisonment for six months for any contravention of the regulations.
