Section 1: Establishment of the Nigerian Television Authority

(1)
There is hereby established a body to be known as the Nigerian Television Authority (in this Act referred to as "the Authority") which under that name shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal, and may sue and be sued in its corporate name.
(2)
The supplementary provisions contained in the Schedule to this Act shall have effect with respect to the proceedings of authority and the other matters mentioned therein.
