Section 95: Power to apprehend offenders

Any person who-(a) commits an offence against section 94 of this Act; or
(b)
commits any other offence against this Act or bye-law made thereunder and refuses on demand to give his name and address, or gives a name or address which the railway servant demanding the same has good reason to believe is false, may be apprehended by any railway servant or police officer, or any other person whom the railway servant or police officer may call to his aid:
Provided that, if the offender is apprehended by a person other than a police officer, such person shall hand over the offender to a police officer without unnecessary delay.
