Section 65: Grant of Mining Lease.

(1) Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Minister shall, upon receipt of a valid application from a qualified applicant, grant and issue to that person a Mining Lease for the purposes required within forty-five days of such application.
(2) No Mining Lease shall be granted in respect of any area within an Exploration Licence Area or a Small Scale Mining Area except to the Holder of the Exploration Licence or Small Scale Mining Lease covering such area.
