Section 135: Use of False or Fraudulent Scales.

A person who keeps or uses any false or fraudulent scale or weight for weighing ores, metals or minerals, or uses any false or fraudulent assay value of minerals, knowing them to be false or fraudulent commits an offence under this Act, and is liable on conviction to a fine of not less than N100,000.00 or more than N1,000,000.00 or to imprisonment for a term not less than 1 year or to both fine and imprisonment.
