Section 33: Amendment of Act No. 22 of 1993.

(1) The word "broking" appearing in section 2 (5) of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria Act of 1993 is hereby deleted.
(2) Section 36 of the Insurance Act, 1997 is amended by deleting subsection (3) and substituting the following new subsection
(3) If the Commission is satisfied that the applicant is a listed body corporate within the meaning of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers Act, 2003".
