Section 1: Establishment of Nigerian Council of Food Science and Technology.

(1) There is established the Nigerian Council of food Science and Technology (in this Act referred to as "the Council").
(2) The Council -
(a) is a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal, which shall be kept in such custody as the Council may authorise;
(b) may sue and be sued in its corporate name; and
(c) may acquire, hold and dispose of any property, subject to the Land Use Act. [Cap. L5, LEN, 2004]
