Section 6: Powers of the Board

The Board shall have power to-(a) provide the general policies and guidelines relating to major expansion programmes
of the Agency;
(b) manage and superintend the affairs of the Agency;
(c) subject to the provisions of this Act make, alter and revoke rules and regulations
for carrying on the functions of the Agency;
(d) fix terms and conditions of service including remuneration of the employees of
the Agency; and
(e) do such other things which in the opinion of the Board are necessary to ensure
the efficient performance of the functions of the Agency.
