Section 8: Commandant-General of the Corps.

(1) There shall be for the Corps a Commandant-General who shall be appointed by the President, on the recommendation of the Minister.
(2)
The Commandant-General shall hold office-
(a)
for a term of five years in the first instance and may be re-appointed for a further term of five years and no more; and
(b)
on such terms and conditions as may be specified in his letter of appointment;
(c)
the Commandant-General shall be the Chief Executive and Accounting Officer of the Corps.
